somebody please help!!!! I just bought a 93 240sx, but i bought it for $500. The guy told me that the engine was messed up but i bought it anywayz! Now my uncle told me it might just be the starter, so i took the starter off and took it discount auto parts store and they tested it and it was still good. So my friend told me it must be the starter relay. I went to the nissan dealer and bought 1 for 20 bucks. i put the starter back on correctly and put the new relay on and tries to start it but still it made a funny noise. It won't start, it just makes a stupid noise!!!!! PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!! hey ,
That's not a whole lot to go off of, I can only suggest that you go and buy a chilton's manual from any parts store. Look under troubleshooting and go from there. Anyway I use my book all the time, it's worth the money. Just remember the basics, to make fire you need air, gas and a spark.
Its not much, but I hope it helps

Describe this "funny noise." Does the engine turn over at all? We need more information.
