Coilover Question

I took my HE's off today to clean and inspect them. They came with the car, so I have no previous experience with them. I removed the fron left just a moment ago, and it is unsprung by about quarter inch. Is this supposed to be like that, or should I bring the collar so it touches the spring. Gonna go remover the right front and see what the deal is. There had better be a post when I return.

If you are talking about slack in the spring, Yes its suppose to be like that if you have lowered the car that much. IMO id rather have it where its at least tensioned enough to sit in the spring seat without it moving.

BTW, if you want to lower it without it doing that, you can shorten the shock body by screwing in the shock further down the shock assembly. shock lower mount and shock is 2 diff pieces, you can bring the seat up till spring seats, then turn the whole coilover until its sits at yer desired setting.
