Car covers???

I am looking to get a good car cover. Something that I can get custom fitted/made and to protect the car from all weather. Please let me know whats good and whats not.

Nissan sells OEM fitted covers for like 75974395794357 dollars. (Actually, its like $170 or so out the door.)

Kragen sells breathable water-repellant car covers for like $80 or so. They're not custom fit, its universal, but they fit pretty well.

Kragen, as well as a variety of other shops (Pep Boys, etc) can custom order custom fitted covers from a variety of manufacturers.

I bought one off ebay for $35. Works fine as long as it doesnt rain. The only thing that can totally protect your car from rain is a garage.

Its not really that i want it to be protected from rain but more for if the cover is on and it rains it will be ok.

Or a water-repellant or water-proof car cover.

Yes, they actually do keep your car dry.

Difference? The water-proof one is better as the water just sheets right off. The water-repellant one absorbs a tiny bit of moisture, but its better than having the sky pee on your car.

i bought one from target for $25 and it works great. but like the guy said before nothing protects better than a garage. sometimes i put a tarp over the car cover and it protects the car really good in rainy weathers.
