Small motor BIG problems...
When when I converted my '97 S14 Q's to K, I had to change my wiper motor since the harness was different. So I had to change out the wiper motors with a earlier version of the S14. For the life of me I can not get all the spines lined up so my wipers work like they should. Now my wipers go down first a little bit then go up and the rotation is all screwed up... Has anyone checked these motors and have some tips?

Well I saw a big dark cloud coming my way and I figured it was time to tinker with it some more. So I found the first over hang I could find and played with it... When it was going down earlier it was like half the rotation so I played with it and one of the end of the linkage popped off and I was thinking, this couldn't be good, but lucky it was just pressed on there. So I hooked that back up and kept guessing and checking and finally got it... I am guessing my serations are a little warn now though but its all good

Take the linkage off the back of the motor. Turn the key on, wiper switch on low, let it run a few cycles, then turn the switch off. Let it come to rest. Now connect the linkage back in place so that both wiper arms are all full rest position. Take the arms off and realign if required.
