Getting the cat off was a two day ordeal. originally i was going to keep the cat in (until turbo dp)to keep the noise level down. But once getting into it it seems the bolts have become one with the cat. a friend of mine just so happened to have a 240 3" resonated test pipe so to hell with the noise.
Once the oe exhaust was off and pulled out, install took less than 10 min.
I needed 2 more gaskets and 4 nuts/bolts only because of the test pipe install. other than that all hardware and gaskets came with the cat back from megan.

with the silencer in this thing sounds just BEARLY louder than oe.
silencer out it sound excellent. nothing like i was expecting. idle is quite, low rpm sounds very deep and muffled. around 4k+ it gets louder but not like the usual 3" on an NA racket. still deep with no rasp at all.

fit and finish is top notch. I like the huge resonator big can, and black silencer ( first ive seen )
the welds are all great and look to penetrate.
All in all this a great setup. esp for the money.

Looks pretty good, but I think it needs to be brought outward more.

Video/sound clip would be fabulous. Looks like it kind of points up into the bumper though.

oh man, that sucks, there's virtually no room if u have any rear kit at all, and it looks recessed in there pretty far

I think it's ghey because it's not 4inches past the bumper, and the fact it has the resonator. Very nice tho you have my props. I'm bashing the product, not your car in case some idiots wanna start something. Did you remember to connect the ground strap under the car. I figured its wise to remember to not forget that so it doesn't rust out over time. That is a first tho i've seen with the black silencer. Sound clips would be appreciated. Cheers.

FATHER TIME: how high is the cannister/resonater sitting off the ground (LAST PICTURE) ? is your car dropped by the way? and curious how much was this megan exh. set up?

i put one of those on my friend's s14. it was the worst fitting exhaust ever. hangs extremely low and the exit is way to the side of the cut out in the bumper. yours looks like a much better exit location. still seems like it sits pretty low though.

i think him and i are talking about the resonater sitting very low. i've a ssauto. apexi style dual n1 and yes it does sit low, went back to stock spring/shocks still it sits like 4-5 inches from ground.

just took the tape measure out. with a 1.5 drop the resonater sits just over 3 from the ground. the stock down pipe sits at 3, so its not the lowest part of the car but still low.

Nice exhaust by the way, the only thing is that it looks a little to far in, but i bet if you dropped it a little bit it might look better.
