I've heard that the KA24DE tranny will mate up to it just fine and that I also don't need custom motor mounts or driveshaft for it.
I've looked around for more info on this but this topic doesn't seem to be discussed too often.
Anyways, just let me know, guys.
Any other suggestions would rock too.

i hope my penis could do that, let me know if it works, but yeah, don't know about the tranny, but my friend dropped an rb20det on his s13, 3-4? years ago? long before custom motor mounts came out, he used the r32 crossmember instead of custom mounts, that's all i know lol

yea, i was talking to a shop about putting a rb20 in my car and he says thats what he does.

Why do you want to use the ka tranny?

Thing is the ka tranny is longer than the rb20 tranny. You can use the rb20 bellhousing mated to the ka tranny, but since ka is longer you'll need a custom driveshaft and your shifter will be a couple of inches offset... and you still need to use the rb flywheel/clutch/starter (or use z32 parts)

You can swap your rb20 using custom mounts or the r32 crossmember/mounts and the shifter will be centered and you can use the stock 240sx driveshaft if you keep the rb20 tranny (just remove the tail dust shield)

exactly why are you going RB20??? I mean unless you plan to stay under like 350 and such, since it is a heavy motor but at least you will have that RB sound, BASTARD!!! haha...enjoy that summa bitch with open down pipe
