turbo question

ok im starting to get together my ka-t project and i have a friend that has a TB03 that he will sell me for like 100 bucks and it has very minimal shaft play, spins freely and on the compressor side the A/R is .52 and the exhaust it is .48 i think. im not sure what kind of car this garrett was off of and neither is the guy i bought it from. its both oil and water cooled as well. anyway would this be a good turbo to start my project with? anybody know what this turbo is off of? it has an internal wastegate but im not sure what it is set at though, it all looks factory. the exhaust side exit is some weird 3 bolt flange that you see on some turbonetics turbos.

thanks in advance

Not sure what flange it actually is, but then might be hard for you to find a manifold if it's not the common t25/t28 and/or the t3/t4 flanged ones. I'd say just look up what kind of power range you're looking for, and find the right turbo for that application, and not just get this turbo 'because it's cheap'.

well i found out what the turbo was off of. it was used on the 2.2L chrysler motors. the NA version of the motor was 80hp and the turbo version was 150hp at 7psi. do you think i could get near 200hp at 7psi with this turbo? thats really what i want out of this setup. thanks.
