Well a friend of mine had a sr20 swap in his 98 240sx done three months ago with a automatic transmission.. now he wants to switch it over to a 5 speed transmission..what does he need to complete this task? How much would it cost altogether for the needed parts? Is this a hard task to do? thx

why would someone swap in an sr w/ an auto? makes little sense.

anyways, search. the info is out there. while most threads you'll find will be for the ka, the hardware is the same, aside from needing an sr manual tranny.
