brembo big breaks from the new sentra a possibility?

Im trying to do some research but I cant find the info im looking for. Is there any possibility the brembo big breaks for a new sentra will fit an S13? The rotors are the right bolt pattern so it would be alot easier for us 4lug guys to have big breaks with out converting to 5lug or redrilling rotors. If the calipers dont bolt up, will the rotors work Q45 breaks or something? Anyone research this at all. If i find any answers i'll post what i find.

I think that was the most helpful response I've ever gotten out of these forums. Atleast now when I search I spell the damn thing right.

Spelling it right and searching still didnt get me any further.

GOD, no i searched "sentra brembo big breaks" and other variations of it by mistake. Im not gonna sit and go through 112,000,000 results for "breaks" in hopes of finding what im looking for. I then after being corrected searched "sentra brembo <i>brakes</i>" and other variations and didnt find the info i was looking for. Im not gonna explain it again, im an idiot for spelling it wrong, i can honestly say I know how to spell brakes but it just comes out "breaks" when i see the word in my mind.

Yeah but they dont look as cool and arent Bremo. They are similar sizes but you have to admit Brembo=cooler.
I played around with this thought and I doubt you have to do any modifications to the rotors but brackets are probably a must and the pieces are still not cheap at all

Swapping brembo's on just because they're brembo's is retarded. the z32 upgrade is sufficient, but OMG!!!!! the calipers aren't gold or bright red and the rotors aren't slotted or drilled. this simply will not do!!!!!!

Yeah, I think it's possible.

Unless I read the thread wrong, those are brembos from a Sentra.
It's a thread on AZ240SX forums, PM me for the link.

Brake upgrades aint cheap. If you have the money/going to spend it on a big brake kit,and honestly run the piss out of your car, therefore will benefit from it,why not do it really nice? Spend a little more? It'll look better, and set you apart from the crowd. Why not make it look decent?

"If your going to do it,do it all out."

By all means if I had the money,I would do the brembos.

Pics are 350z G35 brembos you need to drill out the holes in your spindle a little and add spacers or find shorter bolts there is a full thread on FA on it would prob combine nice with the sti (caliper) evo (disk) conversion being worked on here just need a M/C and possibly a balance adjuster to get bias correct

also R33/R34 brembos fit the same way (drill out and shim bolts)

dude, stock brakes with pads, lines, and rotors are probably enough for most people, and 300zx all around, is good for nearly all the rest.

If you wanted to go beyond that,...BNR33, straight bolt on.

Do you really wanna say you're running "sentra" parts, lol

What's wrong with a Sentra? We drive 240's

I run brembo rotor blanks, stock calipers, hawk hp+ pads, lines, and fluid... I get some pretty shitty fade when I'm running it hard.

240 a RWD sports coupe with nealy perfect weight distribution. Next time i hear you compare a fucking sentra to a 240 we're going to have problems

i personaly couldnt care less if my brembo brakes were from a sentra. As long as they work better then stock thats all that should matter. I can get the entire set, calipers, rotors and pads for about 200$ from a wrecked vspec. The new sentras are sick and i love everything about them, i just cant afford one for a couple of years. Im just gonna bump this one last time to see if anyone has info on this at all. I dont care if using sentra big brakes on my 240 makes my car gay, i just want to know if it will work before i blow 200$ on something that wont work.

I posted in a thread awhile back about alternative brake options for 240s...
A friend of mine test fitted the Sentra Brembo caliper on his S13 and informed me that the caliper did in fact bolt on to the S13 spindle or atleast he said, so I would assume you could use the Sentra Brembo's on the S13's as long as the distance between the center of the hub and the mounting ears doesnt differ from S13 to Sentra, which would move the placement of the caliper in or out and effect how it sits on the rotor.
Sentra Brembos are pretty cheap, I remember seeing them for like 75$ a piece awhile back, may want to look into it and attempt it. They arent too much bigger then Z32 brakes though...Give it a try.

Good luck fitting your wheels back on with those brembo sentra calipers. My stock s14 wheels barely clear my z32 brakes. Have fun with your s13 stockers or whatever other 16" wheels you have.

That's fine if he wants to use spacers. I just wouldn't recommend ever swapping to a brake setup that requires you to get spacers, just one more unnecessary cost.

how does the sentra brembo beat all of those other setups?

How bout this:

Stock + good pads, lines, fluid tires> Porsche 911 calipers custom fitted.
