im not sure if there is even a difference, but if there is you'd need a sohc clutch since cuz youre bolting the pressure plate to the SOHC flywheel The DOHC may be a different bolt pattern or the locating pins might not line up or it may be a different diameter but I really doubt it. The imput shaft that the clutch disk rides on is the same between sohc/dohc transmissions and so should the release bearing and fork assembly so that part doesn't matter.

Thats what I thought...But I have been told different things by different people. Was hoping to get a definatly answer by someone who has done the swap before so that I don't waste my money on a clutch kit that I cannot use.

it really doesnt matter about the engine really just the transmission and flywheels..... if the spline count on both trannies are the same and the flywheel u are usin say for example the de fly, then u would get the de clutch... or vice versa... it really isnt that hard u should research this even more... but thats just me....
