KA Manual tranny
I am trying to confirm if info i have is correct. I tried searching but i dint come up with anything useful.
Researchign S13 tranny in to S14. I know crank sensor is not there but i can take care of thst. thats no big deal jsut drill a hole. Do s13s have nautral switch and others like that? I know drive shaft on S13s looks differnt but everything is still same right? |

You're fired.
Use all your S14 sensors since VSS is different, S13 with have a 4th gear switch, leave it unplugged. Knock the rubber coupling off the back also.

Why would you leave the 4th gear switch unplugged? (Isn't it 5th gear sensor?)
I thought you only left it unplugged if you hadn't switched to a manual ECU.

If its a manual VSS it'll fit. Auto needs to be dremeled down to fit inside. Make sure it doesn't leak though.
Or you can swap the pinion gear, but I'm uncertain as to how to do that. (5th) gear switch is your final drive. Don't know why the ECU would care.
