Guys-

I have a few things I'm trying to figure out. I have a blacktop SR in a S13. The dash lights and headlights only seem to come on when the car is either revved or the car is moving. I'm guessing there is a possible short somewhere, but it seems like it happens 100% time, so it's not intermittent.

Also, before I go get a new alternator, where else should I look for draining batteries? Should the alternator itself be grounded or does it just use the block as a ground? I noticed only a plug and the power wire, I was curious if there is another.
