Ok so currently I work through AppleOne, theyre an employment agency. They got me this "Office Job" in downtown from 8-5. I do almost nothing there and I make $10hr and for the time being this is a 'temp' job. Honestly I dont like it, I think I have the experience to land something a little better, I have banking experience, admin experience (dealing with data entry, invoices, reports, etc.) and basically Im good at math and good with a computer. I want a job with little supervision, in front of a computer working by myself. I perfer no customer service and hopefully make in the range of $14-15 hourly. This is all kind of ironic because I plan on going to school to become a ME so the job I want now will basically just be paying the bills. You guys have any idea what kind of job I can settle with and just stay with for the next couple of years while going to school? Not only that, I just started a week ago at this 'temp' job, so interviewing for something else is also going to be a problem.

yeah I was looking through some account recievables position on caljobs nstuff, some want experience though so its a little problem, other than that Im also taking into consideration loan processing and then jumping up into an underwriter

(j/k) why not become a Professional Zilvia Surfer(never mind we have mods to supervise us.) BTW are there really jobs out there like this? I've been working retail for the last 13yrs. so seeing this just makes me laugh but I'm def. out of touch w/other industries out there and what their job duties entail.

You can get a PHD and get hired at Livermore labs. They start off at about $100k a year.

Damn a PHD and only making $53/hr. My dad has his own business (construction consultant / arbitrator / general contractor / negotiator so on so forth) making $150/hr with $2k retainers to start off, oh yea he only went to high school. Note, school isnt for everyone. Unfortunately what I wanna do as a career requires school

that kind of job sounds boring as hell. i like what i do, get to be outside, meet interesting people and joke around with them. Always adverse conditions to be dealt with and we drink a lot.

And yea that is my answer. I figured that out almost the say day I posted this, haha. Turns out where my girlfriend is working, which is a mortgaging company, is in need of loan processors. My sister use to do that so I asked her whats up with that kind of job. She told me, I liked it so I applied. Dangerous isnt it? Im going to be working with my girlfriend from now on. Hell, we already live together so why not? And oh yeah, shes training to be a loan processor as well

we'll be bringing in 4k monthly woot woot!!
