Quick Question

Ok here is the deal i couldn't find a straight answer so i am going to ask i don't want any flaming i just need to know something A.S.A.P. Make sure i am correct on something. I am doing a five lug conversion and i got the front and rear hubs from nissan. But, the bearings in the rear come seperate and there super expensive so i am going to try and get them from BCA which is a bearing and seal company that my shop goes through. They only list the rear bearings for a 300ZX turbo. Are they the same? I am pretty sure they are just want to make sure. Seriously thanks for the help guys.

The Z32 turbo is much larger, the Z31 does not bolt up the same IIRC, but I may wrong on that one.

Why not use your existing bearings? Press the 4lug hub out, 5lug goes right back in. 10 minutes.

So the rear bearing assemblies are the same for the 4 and 5 lug hubs. There not any different. Because it's the bearing and bracket made all together. Just want to make sure before i order them. So they are the same?

Ok so the problem is that i can't find anywhere else to get that rear bearing other then nissan. And BCA only lists rear bearings for a z32 turbo. So there not the same? because it's made all together. Dang i hate FRI the 13th.

Ok well the old bearings have over 200,000 miles and i want to get new ones so i don't have to change them again down the road. I might just have to bite the bullet and just pay the price. Also i just opened up my front hubs and they have a flange on the back that isn't on the old four lugs just making sure i have everything right.

Find out if you can get the bearings you need from your supplier, even if you get the 4-lug one, now that we know that is similar... The other option would be to find someone with 4-lug hubs that DON'T have 200k plus miles on them (junkyard or Russ, I bet he has some) and then do what Russ said.

I don't actually. I threw out five of them last week that had been sitting outside, they were probably good but I was on a clean up binge.

And eight posts above I clearly stated Z32 turbo bearings are too large. Congratulations on not reading and ordering the wrong shit that won't work at all.

Ok so that takes skill to still fuck that up. So like you guys said the 300zx rear bearings are to large. Sorry guys just didn't listen on that one. So now what i need to know is if i get 300zx rear hubs to go with the bearings will this work on my 1995 240sx. Will it fit the spline correctly. Seriously thanks for the help guys. I might get it eventually.

Thanks
