I like how I TRY to post a thread asking for some guidance and I get a response from "ThatGuy" saying to use the search? Hey, the search doesn't work! Like half the stuff on this site. I had to pay $10 just so I can even post or search in the first place! I tried to sign up for a free account, but the confirmation e-mail doesn't even send. I tried to click on the "Articles" & "Installs" seeking information, that is if the site even loads, and to my surprise-they aren't even links! I love the hospitality too! Man, just because you've been down the road well before myself doesn't mean you gotta be a smart-ass...if there are rules, then perhaps posting them or making them available before signing up would've been a good idea, huh bud?

Hahaha, good job. You never had to pay to join Zilvia. The rules are clearly posted in the RULES and GUIDELINES Threads, as is the explanation as to why things are a little haywire right now. Zilvia.net has undergone some serious rework and is still doing so.

Your Thread was locked because you lack reading comprehension. At the top of the CHAT section you will notice a Thread titled "If you are New, Introduce Yourself". Now whatever could that mean? According to you it means start an entirely new thread instead of playing along. DOn't come in here and try to bitch and moan because you can't follow simple instructions, and don't pick a fight with a Mod.

For someone so new to the forum, you have an awful lot of beef with us.
Don't take a thread being locked so personally. We're just doing our job to keep the forum nice & clean for everyone.
You didn't have to pay a dime to post or search, just wait for your confirmation email. If that didn't come, you could've contacted an admin like me to help you with the problem.
The feedback you're talking about is our way of showing who the good users and the not-so-good users are.

We DO have stuff for new users. ThatGuy was nice enough to go gather up all the links and post them for you. I see you weren't polite enough to thank him.
Your 'I'm here for info and for people to serve it to me when I ask for it' attitude will get you nowhere here.
We don't know you and you're not special, so I'll be damned if I'm gonna hop when you say jump. A great majority of us here put in our own time and effort into learning about our cars and how to do what we need to do, then we've shared it with others. If you're too lazy to look around for that info, maybe Zilvia isn't the place for you.
I recommend you stick around and learn a but instead of wasting your $10 by getting yourself pinked or banned.

I think those are reasonable questions for a first post...the intro thread didn't even load so "my bad." I came here for info, if anyone knew anything about these cars, they could've just dropped a simple line like "this" is a good place for swap info, and "this" is a good place to get the front clip.

I'll be nice and answer your questions, but first - before you cop an attitude about asking for handouts, scroll up and look at your post. All I did was basically quote what you posted. You can't get an attitude with me about something you said. That's illogical and silly.

Now then, question 1 - Search would be my usual response, simply because there are SO many how-to guides on swapping SRs. I'll give you a hint though:

question 2 - again, easily answered with a search. There are probably 400 places in CA to get a motor from, and most of them are reputable. For my money, it's Marco Vargas (http://www.sr20store.com), Phase 2 (http://www.phase2motortrend.com), or G Dimension (http://www.g-dimension.com). All of these are reputable and well known in CA.

Please lose the attitude. This'll be the only time I ask.

Guy - Picking fights with moderators in public is a very, very bad idea. And whyever Thatguy decided to let you off, you own him a debt of gratitude.
