I remember few days ago i found somewhere on the net where they are selling aluminium coolant overflow tank but i lost the link. if somebody know where to find this item it would be helpful and yes i searched

I saw an ad in the new issue of Drift & RWD sport mag, but its at the office...looked like some welded a square tank with cap of some sorts.

Not sure if thats the one you were talking about.

Was it an actual coolant overflow tank, or was it just a breather tank for the radiator? If it was the breather tank it is not a replacement it is just an addition to the system. Although it might work....I dont know. Me and my neighbor are gonna fab something up out of alum. and see how it works.

Slider u are talking about a breather tank, me is really the big overflow tank that replace the plastic one, but thanks anyway its a great site

yea the sard is not an overflow tank. iirc, apexi makes a metal one in their gt lineup. its called gt reservior or something. i haven't found a place that sells it, but im pretty sure anywhere that carries apexi can get it, probably not stocked because ppl are too cheap to pay 100+ for a reservior tank when stock works fine.. but 240 overflow tanks are prone to crack

yeah, mine is ghetto fixed with a big blob of JB weld. It looks like crapola and is the first thing people notice....lol...go figure.
