This is a picture of the prototype and is just spray painted black. I have sent out a few sets to get powdercoated and a few sets to get zinc coated to see what finish we like better. They will be ready for sale as soon as i get them coated. These rear upper control arms are made out of 95 wall tubing and come with a 303 stainless adjuster. The rod end is teflon lined. They will fit the s13,s14, and 300zx. What happens is when you lower your car, you run out of adjustability range of the stock arms and get too much negative camber. These bring your camber settings back to what you need and are alot stronger than the stock arms. Also with the rod end you get a tighter feel. I do suggest getting the complete rear setup (upper control arm, tow links, and castor links) for best results.

Why the higher price??

The grade of metal that Alex uses is the grade of metal used in in the manufacturing of automobiles, you know, stuff required to be certain strength, uniformly strong etc etc. Versus other manufacturers that give you a lower price because they grab whatever metal and then just paint it to look nice.

No, the higher price is from the website he listed. He's quoting a price of 375, and the price on the site he listed is 325. I'm just wondering why the descrepency in the pricing.

take a look at the date on the orignal post. I imagine the price has just come down since then, maybe the recouped their initial development investment and now they can sell them cheaper.

you pay for quality. simple as that.

group buy? that part isnt cheap. its not made for setting your camber at 0. its made for fine tuning. get eccentric bolts if you want to adjust your camber to small amounts to save 'tire wear'

Fully agreed. Alex is a cool-as-sh_t, normal guy. His company makes some quality ass sh_t. Stop thinking that everything can be had for APC prices. You want something OEM-or-better, pay for it, people have to make money to keep their business up. If you want cheap, buy APC or other bullsh_t companies.

alex takes his time effort, money and R & D to make this. he's not f'in cusco or jdm bling. he's a small business HELPING out us 240sx guys, fc and ae86 among others.

if you cant afford it, dont buy it. if you dont need it, dont buy it. obvisouly for a guy who cant change his shifters boot you shouldnt be talking to me like that.

the prices aren't ass raping rpices, look at the cost for ANY REAR UPPER ARM on th emarket and come back. then i'll start listening to you. until then your cheap, ignorant and looking for handouts. you want quality you pay to play. you want well crafted items from reputable and honest business, you spend the cash.

comes down to this:

pay for quality. pay for reliability, pay for well made items. that's what battleversion, cusco, kazama, etc etc, make. average retail cost is 320 AVERAGE. sometimes you can find it lower, sometimes higher. below 200? these aren't TC rods! these arent subframe spacers.
