gt28rs dyno part 2

First dyno I made 253/210 @ 10psi pretty much stock motor. This time I dynoed with my built blacktop head, hks step1 264 cams, z32 maf, 740cc injectors enthalpy rom tune, afc neo, and a tomei expreme

330whp/310tq

The boost is falling off in the upper RPM range, I hate the profec b spec II, need to play with the settings more. AFR is a tad too rich but I don't think leaning it out any will see much more power. I could make a bit more power at 18 if the boost would hold to the end, but I doubt id see any more than 340. The manifold design is meant for low end/response rather than top end, so im pretty happy with the results, its plenty fast for me.

It isnt the boost controllers fault it isnt holding boost. It should be a mechanical problem. Nice chill setup though. Expensive and done right

This boost controller is not a typical turn up the boost and go, i have to adjust the gain to stop the boost fall off. The wastegate actuator is the adjustable from atp and has held 18psi solid before.

that would be the first image, then its hp/psi then hp/afr (check the right hand side)

Looks like some good power. I was just curious what your previous setup was?

Depends on what year it was heh, most recently was the completely stock redtop with the gt28rs @10psi.

wow thanks for posting your dyno, now I wonder how the larger 2871 with the same exhaust ar would look... Keep us posted if your able to tap into the top end some more.

The only other question is besides the cams what else was done for "head work"?

2871r .86 is capable of over 400whp. My head has new valve seals, jwt valve guides, new oem intake valves, super tech inconnel exhaust valves, hks valve springs, crower retainers.

what i ment by how the 2871 would look I ment how power and tq would look when it hits the dyno and what rpms certain levels of boost would hit and

what I like the most is how boost is on set very early and how the gradual(smooth) the power is as well(for a 2.0L)
