Do you guys have pictures of 89-94 240sx's with Meshies? I already have the meshies from johngar but it's time to repaint the car inside and out so i'm looking for nice colours that will look good with black meshies.

Or just paint your wheels to match your car......

My car's flat black right now, but I have a set of gold Enkei meshies on the rear, and I think it looks good, but I might just strip the paint for all 4 of my Enkeis for my car when I paint it black, that way it's just straight up aluminum color (of course I'm gonna have the face cleared to avoid chemical damages when I use that brake dust cleaner spray on it).

I can't think of a color that won't go with black meshies, lol. Paint the car a color you want, don't dictate it by the color of some mesh wheels. Though again, black looks good with anything.

Hey Thanks. Looks like I have to get 2 jobs a day to paint the car. But with me stuck in college this Spring 2006...and the estimate for my inside/out paint is around 2500...I just have to suck my old paint up. Once the meshies get delivered, i'll pay $40 bucks for it to be powder coated. Is this a dumb idea?

Make sure you mask off the polished lip part if you dont want the lip sandblasted and dulled.

Even $40 a wheel isn't that bad for powder coating IMO. But definately look around for ideas.

Is that your car in your sig? Cause I know I've seen that pic in someone elses sig and it was definately his car.

Hmm yeah $40 for powdercoating is a steal!

But honestly, you don't really need to unless you're going to stick with your meshies for a while.

Regular "wheel paint" by duplicolor holds up really well, even with heavy brake dust. The key is prepping the wheels for paint so it adheres well.

I'd say, spend $8 on aircraft stripper (clean up)
lightly sand where needed
polish the lip with high grade steel wool (fine stuff)
tape off the lip
paint the wheel (many thin coats with light sanding and washing in between).

Right now I have a black 240 with black meshies. if you really want a picture then PM me.

meshies go with anything...gold meshies black meshies pink meshies green meshies...just spray them whatever color you want...it only costs a few bucks so u can change color whenever u want

It's DeviousKA's car. I'm buying parts for my KA from his online shop. We have the same colour and pignose look. I just don't have the fog lights thats why I removed them. He's arelly good guy. Hehe.

If you have the patience I would polish the lips. I like the faces black though, so I'd leave that.

why? just get some mothers metal polish (or something of that nature) and do it yourself...if your lips are that oxidized or rusty then get some fine steel wool and get ta polishin'...
