Whats up everyone. Gil here from beautiful South FL. Just wanted to stop by and see whats good here. A few people on a local forum mentioned this site, so I thought i would check it out. I previously owned a 2006 civic si, it was fitted with a nice ALL-MOTOR setup laying down a healthy 220whp, well long story short i got into an accident last month (rear ended) Car was a total loss and I had full coverage. Geico gave me $18K for the car and I only owed $13K so I came up! Rather then get back into another Honda I decided to get the car I always had a love for..The S14! I managed to pick up a clean one down in Miami for $5g's 1995 with 145K miles on the odo. Long term goal is to do a motor swap in about a year, and then build the car up for weekends and track events and get a nice daily driver. below are pics of my si and my s14...
      mods: ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN/BRAKES 2.4 l stock motor with new engine mounts touge factory trans mount 5 speed trans with fresh gear oil new battery air filter new 300zx tt fuel filter J30 vicious lsd with new fluid 300zx 30mm front 4 piston calipers and rotors spl parts steel braided conversion lines rear brakes are stock s14 ICE cold a/c mobil 1 oil changes INTERIOR/ELECTRONICS factory black leather seats front and back (drivers/passenger worn) clean carpet jdm coil spring style cup holder clifford alarm with black jack feature nitro 1.5 farad capacitor for music 3rd brake light flasher unit for motor cyles EXTERIOR/CHASSIS/RIMS AND RUBBER car was painted november of 2007 factory ruby pearl color match eye lids tinted headlamps,corners and signal lights 02 acura tl hid bilbs,ballast and igniter all bought new s14 silvia front grill and rear badge jdm window visors wet sand buffed tail lights g35 18 inch rims with some curbage front tires are 225/40r18 falken 1 month old rear tires 275/35r18 nexen 5 months old rear quater wheel openings were shaved for wider tires megan/tein fully adjustable coilovers tein camber plates front megan pillow ball mounts rear |

the car is on the ground for the first time in two years. it went up on jackstands in May '06, came down an hour ago
 . the aero is a Vertex knockoff (flame all you want) so it fits like crap

let's do this:
finished my RB swap/full engine bay seam weld/paint/suspension overhaul/EVERYTHING in 2 months this summer. Powdercoated and reinforced suspension arms myself. check sig for engine color    selling my motorcycle so i can get coilovers and wheels. then aero is next when funds allow |

Not special, but new stuff for me - 5-lug swap and R32 GTR wheels. Had to re-finish them, they were beat. I'm pretty happy with the results:
