SR oil banjo fitting to the block

I have ran into a problem...took off my turbo the other day to find out that the threads for the banjo bolt for the oil to the turbo have been stripped...i have talked to a few sources and on person said, since there are more threads in the block that have been untapped, get a double banjo bolt of the same size and use that. cut off the excess threads and call it good...another person suggested that i get it helacoiled (imporper spelling?) but that person wasnt sure if you could bore that part of the block out far enough to do that? so im asking for some suggestion to people that have A) come arcross this problem, or B) know what the hell there talking about...or C) have an extra SR block just sitting around for me...anywho...any help would be appriecated.
