Have you tried reading the ECU LED codes yet?

Timing or CAS problem???
My old car did the same thing after it sat for a few months once...eventually started up just fine though.

I haven't tried reading ECU codes yet. is it possible that my timing could be off or my CAS could go bad from just sitting there for about a month? i checked FPR gauge and it's still getting fuel when its cranking and i can smell gas as well, havent checked the spark plugs for spark yet..wont turn over when i try jumping it either

I finally had time to check the spark on the car and it's not getting any spark. Replaced the spark plugs and still no spark. Replaced the ignitor chip and still no spark. What could be some other causes that could prevent me from getting spark? I have a code E5 ecu (no LED so I can't read the codes) and I took a look at the board, seems to be ok, also my SAFC still works when I am cranking my car, which leads me to believe my ecu is ok. Any help would be appreciated, I really need to get this car started by next week. Thanks.

check voltage to ignitor. a bad ground on the harness for the coilpacks could cause it, it grounds to the head back by the firewall. there is also a ignition coil relay that you could check for 12v to (between pins 1 and 2) and if its there then maybe the relay is stuck.

would my timing be bad from just sitting in the garage and could timing issues prevent spark? my car ran without problems for over a year up until i let it sit for a couple of months.
