I'm pulling my ka24E and the exhaust doesn't seem to come off the headers. All the bolts are off, but it still won't come loose. We ran out of daylight so we're gonna try again in the morining. ANY suggestions would help! Thanks.

Just cut the pipe if you don't plan on reusing it.

You can pull the motor with the downpipe still on. You have to disconnect the steering rack from the shaft though or cut the EGR pipe.

Douse it in PB blaster or some other good penetrant. In the morning do it again and then gently tap it with a hammer or what it with a rubber mallet or deadblow hammer.

Thanks for the help guys... But it was actually one of the bell housing bolts holding in the way... Loosened it up and it lifted right out! It's amazing what a little light will do!
