Tranny input shaft sizes different between s13 nd s14?

Okay here's my problem.
My 95' s14's tranny grinded 3rd gear, so i bought a s13 tranny for ka24de (92-93) and replaced it with act street clutch kit. everythings fine except i have this grinding/rattling noise which seems to be coming from pilot bushing ever since the job. noise goes away when i step in the clutch, loud when idling and driving around with clutch engaged. i couldn't replace the pilot bushing cuz its stuck and the puller wouldn't work. the noise started as soon as i put in the s13 tranny so i'm guessing the sizes of the trannys input shafts are different? maybe the s13's a little smaller than the old one? i'm not sure what to do at this point, maybe put in a pilot bushing for the s13? any input or advice would be helpful. thanks alot.

You're guessing wrong. If you had done any kind of search you'd find a number of posts where I type in huge bold letters that all 89-98 transmissions are the same.

The pilot bushing is always contacting the input shaft, your noise goes away with the clutch engaged so it's the throwout bearing or something behind it that's causing the problem.

searching is the best way to find out information, also, correct me if im wrong, but arent act clutches known for making a lot of noise? there are also ways to remove the pilot bushing without a puller since they dont work at all...many threads have been made on all of the different ways the pilot is removed, searching is your friend...
