Ok I ordered my new subs.I got two 8" MA Audio subs that are 500watts each and have a 60oz scrotum magnets."sp".But here is my question.I am make a custom box for the subs and i Was wondering if i should seal them together or should i seal them seperately?Which would sound the best.I need to know if someone knows how to break down measurements as well for a sealed box.The box has to be 0.35-0.60 cubic feet.So if someone knows how to mesure this stuff please help me out through e-mail at [email protected].

scrotum magnet???   too drunk to do math, but i always thought seperate sealed chambers for each sub woud make them sound better.

single sealed chambers will give you a better sound and it would probably make your measurements alot easier and accurate...

if ma audio has a site go to it and look up your equipment, thats what i did and i got the conversion for the meassuremnt for my rockford fosgate 12... it should break it down for you.

Haha....scrotum magnet.........I hope you mean strontium (STRON-she-em)....cause scrotum is the technical term for your ball sack.  Who says you dont learn something new everyday.

well put it this way.  if you put one sub in one box then the sounds bouncing around will be of only one sub.  if two in the same box then that is double the interference in there.  you can add sound damping in there.  that will help alot.  i had a 12 in a box i made myself and it was a bitch.  well a bitch cuz i didnt have power tools.  but it was great afterwards.  my best answer could be this.  what music you listen to, how you listen to it, whats the space in your car, and other things you want.  so if you like boom boom then maybe a single sealed box will give you that...dont quote me...two single sealed box will give you a tighter bass.
