My new rims Whatdya think? The Yokohama Parada Spec 2's kick the crap out of my old Nitto 450s. Sorry for the huge pic.

Chrome is a bit to "bling bling" for my taste. I liked the white 19's better...though they weren't my fav either, too big.

Good looking car though, you just need bigger brakes to fill up the inside of the wheel better.

Oh yeah, the wheels are ADR Valkyries, 17s. It isnt chrome, its "Ion Metallic Plating".

The old white ones were 18s not 19s. Would 19s even fit on a 240? You'd have to have like 30 profile right?

riiiiiight.

and that makes it better? looks like chrome to me, brah.

personally, i think the car is gorgeous, but i'm not sold on the chrome either. just save some more cash and get 'em stripped and powdercoated some nice color. like anthracite.

Not that bad, but its a bit chromy.

Did you "smoke" your taillights? or is it just the lighting in the picture?

Its called MARKETING. They make it sound cool so people like you buy into it thinking its a new, cool process...no offense. There is no way of getting around it though, its CHROME (bling, bling style). IMHO, I think it looks gross on the car, well NOT gross but I dont like it.

Peoples taste in wheels change every week. In order for your wheels to be "cool" they must be very light weight (cuz were all down at the track every weekend racing ya know) and they HAVE to be white, black, or gunmetal! I on the other hand look at a wheel not by brand name or how light they are, just if they compliment the cars styling wich I think these do.
Nice wheels man!

if you like 'em then that's what matters. shoot, i wish i had any car in HS, so enjoy it!
The way i see it, make the car look the way YOU want it to, don't worry what other people think, if it looks cool to you then it is, because cool is relative. and you can't please everyone all of the time. not to mention, alot of people will just say what they have heard other people say, they know "bling bling" isn't considered cool now so they might just bash anyone that's bling'in it...
as for me, my rims are stock with hub-caps. and I'm cool with that for now.
just be happy and smile knowing you probably have the best car in your HS parking-lot

For the rest, thanks for the compliments

HEY, I JUST DONT LIKE CHROME. It's not my thing. No one said they had to be 3 grand rims. For the amount that you spent on those, you probably could've got something better though (even USED rims&#33....INCLUDING TIRES.

Hmmm chrome does not suit my taste, but your car's paint is mesmerizing... I personally prefer gunmetal hyper black or more flat colored rims.

I don't know what everyone is talking about. Basically the only rim people would say they like are Advans or some shit. Your car looks sweet and the "ion" or whatever matches it really well. Keep em in good shape!

I'm not too much of a fan of chrome either. And they weigh your rims down!!! (a pound or two, don't worry)

what sizes are they? I thought those rims only came in honda-offsets (40mm and up)
also, what tire sizes are they? i don't think you mentioned it.

i like the design, but i don't like chrome wheels on the 240. it just looks out of place, as there's no chrome ANYWHERE on the car.if those were mine, i'd have them powdercoated, or even take things into my own hands with some duplicolor graphite... other than the chrome, that's a nice looking car!
