may be a dumb question but is it possible to put a s13blacktop head on a s14 bottom end.
reason i am asking is with 272 high lift cams you do away with vtc anyway.

yes this is a serious question.

If Im not mistaken, dont the waterjackets not line up?

not really sure. kinda why i am asking. i know there are differences just what and if they are compatible well i am not sure on. figured one of the guru's would know.

from what ive seen its possible there was a guy in Oki with a white 180 with an S14 bottom and S13 Head running an SDS System

im sure its not as simple as putting studs in and torquing it down.

Water/Oil Passages are the same, But Im not sure about the Wiring though

Ex. if you are to order a Head Gasket they dont specify which engine for They say "S13/S14/S15 Headgasket"

Wiring, I dont see it being complicated if you transfer all your sensors for what harness you have. So S13 harness, use all S13 sensors.
