I have a Greddy header for my s14, and if you are looking for huge power gains, you are not going to get them.  Acceleration was noticibly quicker, but nothing on the ends of a turbo or NO2 would do. The car, however, is SOOOO much smoother in accleration.  I think that this fact alone makes it a worth while buy.  All of this IMO, of course.  Also, hotshot makes a header thaty gets rid of the cat completely, not sure how much this would effect performance, but I know it sure as hell would affect your ability to get it inspected.

i'm getting my car back tommorow from having my Hotshot header (used for $100) put on.  Its a 1st gen header and the guy had to lengthen some holes to get it to fit but i'll let you know what i think after i drive it around a little.
