not sure about the 240, but my buddy took his camaros front sway bar OUT to go drag racing. i guess you dont really need sway bars for going straight, because their purpose is to stop body roll during cornering. so some people prefer to save the weight

Did drag racing change recently? Do you turn now?

Sway bars only work in roll. So if the car isn't rolling they aren't doing anything. Well I shouldn't say nothing, because they will add some friction to the suspension as the rotate in the bushing mounts.

So for drag racing, it really doesn't matter. There should be no lateral accelerations. If anything, removing the sway bars would remove some of the friction in the suspension. And it might also help keep the rear wheels loaded more evenly at the launch.

of all the places to add bling, the place where no one can see has to be pretty low on the list

since no one can see them, just put them in your internet mod list, show off to your internet buddies, and stop asking dumbfuck questions

if you really wanted to know if sway bars helped in drag racing, the least you could have done is do some MINIMAL searching on what a fucking sway bar is

remove the rear sway. helps the rear end squat to put the power down. or just keep it on and remove the end links when ready to drag cuz your rear end will swing side to side a little more without it

Sway bars will most likely do more harm than good but getting subframe bushings might help kill the anti-squat. splparts.com has them.

Take of the sway bars and call it weight reduction

squatting is good. it helps give more traction. you dont want to get rid of it.
