ok are the DOHC and the SOHC interior harnesses different? and can i use a DOHC cluster on my SOHC body and engine?

seconded, first result on google for search "240SX SOHC and DOHC wiring harness" yielded that wiki page.

well the harness came from a 93 hatchback and i have a 89 coupe and i just dont know if i can use the INTERIOR harness not engine harness

They are different as far as I know.

Did you even bother to read the link I posted?

"The dash connector will need to be cut off the SOHC engine harness (where it meets the dash harness), and soldered to the DOHC engine harness in the same location. There will be wires that are left floating so don't worry. All the wires that need to be connected will be color matched. For example: just put red to red, and white to white, etc."

sohc cluster goes to 115, dohc goes to 110, they're not the same, but what you SHOULD do is get a ka24de to replace your sad sohc lump.
