Oil restrictor?
I kinda understand what it is for. Id like my new turbo to last longer then I own the car. So I dont know whether to get it or not. I googled, and searched here. Nothing here, but google I found this. (sorry Nico link but worth the read)
turbo bearings/seals destroyed WHILE using an oil restrictor?!?!?!: KA24ET / KA24DET Forum: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub So from that, should I take into consideration to get a bigger one? I wana run an s15 t28 with Taka lines. Which have a restrictor in them correct? Im just scared of spending anoth 5-800 on a turbo in 6 more months. Its getting rediculous now.

I believe the later taka lines have a built in restrictor and during order you have to specify that. If you buy used, you have to make sure, but I bought a restrictor from ATP Turbo and hooked itup on the turbo side... All set..
Chances are, if you run your turbo like stock which is 8psi on a s15 t28 with a turbo timer, it should last you a long time. Turbo's tend to last 80,000 miles if run at stock boost. Any more it would be done...

well i only read some of that post,
That guy is dumb, Boost preussre has nothing to to with oil Pressure. Engine oil pressure is the same regarless of the boost level Ball bearing turbos need less oil pressure than a thrust bearing turbo. search the threads here about the restrictor need to run the T28's there are alot of threads on here
