The shooting star completes a collection, as I already had a 1:18 Mach 5, and the Oscar the Grouch fitted is something I mentioned passing interest in weeks ago and hadn't given another thought to since. She even got the right size!

I have the Cookie Monster one already, and had vaguely mentioned that I was likely going to get the Oscar one a few weeks ago, and forgot about it. I was honestly surprised when I opened the box.

Wife got me a RaceLogic "Performance Box"...awesome for datalogging...GPS based...displays lap times, cornering G's, etc....and using the software, you can plot the course, and play back the run, looking at any specific point.

You can also do 1/4 mile runs and 0-60...all the useless magazine shit. In fact, they used this in 'Car and Driver' for their recent track shootout.

Awesome tool, very accurate. I've tested one (a friends) against an infrared lap timer...and they are withing a hundredth of one another on any given lap.

If you can't tell....I'm excited.

But my Favorite gift of all had to be from my Kinda-GF. I absolutely love this girl to death but her parents hate me and don't want she and I to see each other. So I don't get to see her often or really talk to her as much as I'd like which is why she's my "Kinda-GF". So she got me a Domo-Kun Belt buckle, and when I got it like a week ago in the mail I knew exactly what it was and I already had one so it was kinda awkward. She put a note inside telling me not to open it until X-mas. So I opened it this morning and then looked at the back and she hand etched a bunch of stuff in the back and when I saw it almost cried - I actually almost cried thinking about it right now.
