transmission vibration after installing new clutch
its a '92 240, ka engine, originally a manual, installed a stage 1 clutch from exedy and fidanza flywheel. have a vibration in every gear, but its only noticeable in decel around 2500 down to 2000 rpm in 3rd and really bad in 4th/ it sounds like its coming from the diff but i think its just traveling through the whole powertrain. the driveshaft is in phase, i measured runout. i had the car up on a lift doing 10 mph and the tail shaft of the trans was wagging around so i thought it was the trans mount. i stuck a pole jack underneath it to take the weight of the trans off the mount and i could feel the vibration coming down the pole jack. i have a feeling that its the flywheel, maybe for some reason it wasnt balanced right or something else. Is anyone else having this problem and actually fixed it? i saw a few with no conclusion.

i torqued the bolts to spec and i used loctite. its possible that they came loose but i would think there would be some kind of clutch chatter or something though if the flywheel were loose, and it better not be warped already, theres like 200 miles on it or so since i did the job. im going to take a shot at the driveshaft. it didnt seem like the joint was shot and it was put back together right with the paint markings i made, but id like to upgrade to a one piece anyway, but id rather be putting my hard-earned bucks in the engine instead haha, oh well. ive researched some other sites and some people say the heavier duty clutch is hitting the natural frequency of the differenial, or "harmonic ressonance" Does anyone have anything to say about that or have the same problem? if its not hurting anything i dont mind driving it the way it is, its not like its an expensive car and has to be quiet. But if its slowly wearing my trans and diff out because its out of balance then ill be pissed.

I'm having the same problem can anyone have more info on this problem. Could this problem be from wrong type of gear oil?
