KA24 Power steering

Mines leaked fluid for a while now and I used prestone ATF stop leak, It seems to stop leaking for a while now but im wondering if this shit is bad for the pump and stuff cause now it feels a little harder on power steering.. any one done this before?

That ATF stop leak is shit. I never trust things like that. It would be best that you empty the power steering fluid if it feels stiff too you.

You're supposed to you ATF in the 240sx power steering system.

The internal seals may be bad or maybe theres a small hole in one of the lines. Replace whatever part is leaking, thats what i did. I have a new ps pump, steering rack and pressure line and return lines. Only thing not new is the resevoir to ps pump (feed) line and i just cut off the ends that were worn from old clamps put it back on with new clamps, tightened everything down and now it doesnt leak anymore.
