New Member Intro. :)

hello everyone..i'm new on here *der :P* and i just wanna introduce my self to everyone soooo straight to the point. i'm coming from a 97' mitsu eclipse 420a...which i've had since 2006-jan 16th 2010...i used that car has a starting point of my way into cars and modifying them....and it goes without saying that i bout that car after a ricer infactuation with the fast and furious lol but i quickly learned the difference btwn a tuner and a ricer sooo i got rid of my wing and painted my car 1 color XD...built the engine *after boosting it and blowing it to hell lol* and made 259whp on 8psi of boost...ran strong after that until tranny *auto* decided to go and sold the car....sooo now i've decided to follow through on my path to building a 240sx mainly because i fell in love with the s15 and i ever intention of doing an s15 conversion in the near future *so personal pref on that one*...as far as motor i wish to either go rb25 or stay KA *which seems more practical and cheaper and better way to go as far as maintainance and parts...can't forget gas :P*....as far as body i will be looking for an S14....but i can't decide on this part yet.....should i buy a motor and build it until a nice shell comes along then drop the motor in *which seems easier to me* or if i find a nice running 240 and pick that up then work on it? my goals are not that high this time around i'm looking to reach a goal of 300whp safely...as far as engine work....built block and minor head work....that aside i'm a pretty straight forward person and coming from a mitsu to nissan will be a pretty big change for me ^_^ thats all for now

neeyyaaa i found it after first reply XD sorry its late + long day at work lol....but i guess i'll ask my initial question anyways....what would do you feel would be better to do? picking up a ka motor and building it on a stand until a shell comes along and just drop it in there or pick up a running 240 and build from that? mind you i have a dd already....so either option will be ok...but as far has cost and labor....it would be easier and more practical to do the engine first and get the car later even if its one with a blown motor...givin the cost of a motor + shell vs. a running car....
