Question Clutch problem

So, i replaced my old burned out stock clutch on me S14 with a Spec Stage 2 and aluminum flywheel, worked fine for a short drive. Then it was parked for about 2 months, I come to see that it would not engage into gear. When the car was shut off, and i put it into gear and started it about a month ago, it was ok-ish holding. Now, a month later it's not. What could be the problem? I bled it today, new slave cylinder (though it was crooked when installing it, can it be the problem? It worked when we straightened it out tho). Clutch wasn't new, so maybe someone sold me a defective one? Last, but not least, does this mean i have to pull all the shit out again? Opinions and suggestions are welcome.

did you bleed it right? and check your clutch master cylinder, it might leak. or it could be the hardline leaking fluid somewhere

Trying to get the damn damper box off, bot one of the bolts won't work with me. Will try tomorrow, sprayed with PB Blaster, and i think it might be the crapyzone slave. Read some good reviews about NAPA ones, also might just try the OEM from a reputable shop out here in LA. Any other ideas? I don't think there's any leaks, since the fluid was at the same level when i left it. Will update tomorrow, feeling like a noob, since i drank my last couple of years away... *facepalm*

Ok, so i changed the slave, removed the damper box, and still it won't go into gear. When i start it in gear, it seems to hold fine, but won't come out of the gear. Maybe throw out bearing? Master seems to be working fine, no visible leaks, the fork moves fine. Any other suggestions?

when your cars off you can switch gears fine right? but when the cars on it wont go in or out of gear, if so you might have one of the springs on the clutch break off and is stuck between the clutch and pressure plate.

BUT i would keep checking to make sure its not some other problem before you drop the tranny because its a pain in the ass.

Yep. I think i'll just get it to the shop, and let them see what's up. I am not dropping the tranny again sans no garage. And i hope it won't be the spring, i read on another forum that for one guy it got stuck between the disk and flywheel. I hope that's not the case for me... :/

Gaaaaaaaaah. Guy at at the shop said the stock shit can't handle Spec Stage 2. Changed it to Exedy stock replacement. Got ripped off. 6fucking80 bucks. 300 labor, 250 for clutch, 90 for a tranny mount (mine was split in half). I hate myself. Ugh. Whatever... And the most fucked up part is that the fucker never called, as he said he would do when he drops the tranny. He called and said it's done. Fucking armenians...

Shit man...same thing happened to mine. Wanna know what the solution was? I adjusted the rod that goes to the clutch pedal. Sucks that you spent so much

Oh well, I will most likely keep the Spec clutch for later, and burn this motherfucking exedy (which goes for about 120 or so on eGay, and the fucker charged me 250) to pieces like I did with my stock one. 265 tires do it quick on a stock, beat on KA.

I also adjusted the rod, but it only worked for like 2 short drives. oh well. At least it's running now.
