need help with ecu codes

hey zilvia

so i have a sohc 240sx and my ecu is telling me i have codes

23 - Idle switch (throttle valve switch) signal circuit open

45 - Injector fuel leak (California models only)

first thing i did was there was corrosion on the fuel injector and temp sensor connections so i cleaned them out and i plan on changing the o-rings on the injectors

but what im really confused about is code 23.. i searched zilvia and other forums and i cant seem to find any answers for this code. i dont know where to begin

the car runs fine as is now but i do notice the gas mileage is looking horrible

i dont notice any funky smells or anything

any help from would be much appreciated for i am trying to get this car smogged!

thanks

If I may ask, are you actually running into any problems with your car? Besides gas mileage being bad, is your exhaust glowing red hot? do you have a way to read your Air Fuel Ratio?

well i warmed up the car and notice the exhaust was smelling a lot like gas... even some gas squirted out which was weird

so i went ahead and bought a new o2 sensor and o-rings for the injector... i think i might as well replace the injectors as well

so im looking at injectors and i know ka24e stock injectors are 260cc and they are top feed

i was wondering can i use any kind of injectors that meet the requirements?

Injector Brand: ND Nippon Denso
Type: Top Feed Port Type 1 EV3 Connector
Impedance: High Impedance 14.5 OHM
Flow Rate: 260cc/min or 24.8 lbs/hr
Discharge Type: Single Pintle Pin

i was wondering if that was fine...
