1996 SE Power Window Switch

Want to buy a 1996 SE power window switch.

NOT a 95, and not a 97. Just a 1996 power window switch.

Thanks

I have a window switch, that i have not figured out what its for. It didnt fit in a 95 base model, didnt fit in a 96 that said he had a 97 harness, didnt fit in a 97.

I am assuming its a 95 or 96 SE switch, but the driver button when you push down doesnt return click. I really want to find someone local to test the switch out.

If the button doesn't pop back up then it's broken - it will burn up a motor eventually.

i was told by a few s14 owners that the spring being bad is common and that you just have to pull the button up manually, But i never experienced it for myself so i have no opinion.

but i still want to know how to tell the difference between 95 SE and 96 SE. why did they make it so confusing.

95 SE has a external window motor amp in the drivers door.
The connector for the switch is different then 96-98

I need a drivers side window switch for a 95' base model. I am thinking of retrofitting one from a 200sx (mid 90's) and rewiring the plug. I think these are bastard years....as far as plug design?
