My idea on a hacked mafs
I bought a RB20DET mafs recently and I am trying to swap the internals with an s14 MAFS. I got the top poped off and I am trying to pull it out cleanly. I think the RB20DET mafs would be a perfect housing for a hacked mafs, because it is 2 7/8" ID. Here's what I have so far. I don't know how I am gonna get that brass plate out, without messing it up.

it's easier to just swap the S14 sensor into a new pipe, IMO. I took my old S14 MAF apart and it's just a PITA to get everything out without breaking anything.
it would definitely look a lot cleaner, though. either way, good luck!
