offset question not noob

ok guys i recently sold my r34 gtr stocks that were 18*9 30 mm backspacing, they did not clear coilovers at all. The backs spacing with the 30 mm off set was 144.3 mm . i was gonna put some volks on them but i sold those too. Now im looking at some wheels made by work called the emotion cr kai.

I know the rears will work but the front are 18*8.5 with a 30 mm off set which would give you a backspacing 137.95mm now we have improved about 6.3 mm, will it clear teins or will i still need a 5 mm spacer at least. Any help is apreciated.

Backspacing is also a term used for wheel sizes. If I still remember correctly it is the distance from the mounting point to the inside end of the wheel moving towards the center of the car that is.

What coilovers do you have? It makes a difference.
