This is the car:

Pictures don't really matter as I believe it is now white so the only way to find it is by the plates (as seen in the pics). I sold it in 2005 to a guy named Robert. Saw it in a magazine article about some sort of show coverage in 2009ish? Smog records showed that the last time it was smogged was in 2008 so I thought it had been taken off the road at some point. Just ran the plates through the smog registry again and it looks like it was smogged again late last year, so it's alive

! Who has it now? Any pic of what it looks like today?

No. Can't find the VIN and it wouldn't tell me what it looks like today anyway.

Ouch. I used http://www.checkmyride.com/ to find my old car and actually ended up buying it back. You would need the vin though. Would maybe give you some sort of a starting point. Good luck.
