![]() Hello everyone, I was looking up some injector upgrades for my KA24e and have been finding a lot of people saying CA18 injectors drop in yet there are people saying something about high impedance and low impedance differences between the injectors and the possibility about blowing my ECU. I also found some Deatschwerks 370cc injectors for the KA. All the forum entries are asking about KAT builds and I was wondering if these injectors would be good in a non-turbo single slammer. I would love to go turbo but the pure intense hatred that the Elroy seem to have for me mixed with the shitty CA smog rules prevents me from doing so. The injectors would be installed alongside a Greddy Emanage Blue.

I picked up on Emanage for 100. I was planning on using it until I could afford something like the AEM EMS or something along the lines. If I'm not going turbo, what should I do to the motor?

There's not much you can do.
Bolts ons mostly just make noise. ECU tuning (like a JWT rom tune, for example) is about the only place you can get easy power, short of going high comp or something. $$$ Build the rest of the car (suspension, wheels/tires, brakes, seats, steering wheel, etc), then decide on power mods. A done up car even with 115whp is fun. |

I'm not sure if you'll gain anything. I don't know how hard the 270ccs work on an NA motor.
No matter what kind of mods you put on it, I'm sure you won't be close to maxing them out. But I'd stay away from Deatschwerks injectors though. Stick with OEM or something. Q45s have 370cc's that drop right in. |

Unless your pump was failing, you won't see any benefit. It's just fuel supply, so unless you were having issues with fueling, you won't get any kind of gain out of new injectors or fuel pumps. |

The way you benefit from the walbro is you replace your 20 year old pump with something new that should not have issues for a while.
