Completed Pix of my S14

I was once involved a little wreck. Unfortunately, I ended up looking like this:

So, off we went to the body shop for a few months of rehab. We were already going to do some motor upgrades before the accident, so we pulled the motor as well. This way, the whole car could get sprayed, and it made working on the motor much easier. The car breathed it's last breath in mid April of last year. It sat in the body shop for about 6 months. Well, she's done. She'd like to say something (especially all the SRT4 owners out there)

Hi

Other guys insurance helped pay for the Cwest DRFT kit, and Kouki conversion. I'm also using Chargespeed front overfenders and hood.

I got some new wheels, too. They are ok. Someone keeps calling them Corning wear, not sure why.

This is the dish on the front wheels.

Pretty nice. Here is the back:

Here's some other various shots

Oh yeah, I guess we lowered it a bit more too. Some new suspension stuffs also, like Nismo power brace, cusco rucas, spl toe rods.

We spit on the engine and using a little bit of elbow grease, it came out looking pretty clean. Ok not really but its somewhat nicer than before

Ok FAAQ (frequently asked annoying questions):

No, I do not drive it every day. It is a garage queen, a toy, etc. It takes two people just to get it in my driveway. Speed bumps are killer. Etc etc

It has full a/c, p/s, the whole nine. It is a street car, not a race car.

I love chrome. Fuck you if you don't like it.

The turbo is a GT2540R .86 a/r. We also massaged the head with a new valve job, rocker arm stoppers, GReddy valve springs, HKS 264 step 2 cams, head gasket, arp studs, and a top speed manifold.

That big shiny thing to the right is an external wastegate. We modified the stock exhaust manifold and welded the flapper shut on the turbo. Why? Because it makes power, why else?

The color is spiral grey metallic from a 03-04 C5 Vette.

Yes, half the car IS fibre glasse as a matter of fact.

No, it is not fast. Not yet. Spec 3 clutch sucks at life, so Im stuck at 270whp at 7psi. My T25 put down 270whp at 14psi. The GT2540R will eventually run 20psi. 10hp per psi - you do the math.

It cost a lot, don't you know its not nice to ask?

My car is set up for grip, drag. Thats why I did not put stretched tires on there, i wanted meat up front

Many many many thanks go out to Matt "BACK" Vass for about 1001515120 hours in working on this thing. Wouldnt exist if not for you Mattbark, I <3 you You are teh best

Some more thanks to some sponsor type people on the smaller order of Enjuku Racing, SPL Parts, Mike @ Advance Performance and Tire, Mike at Racing Zone tampa, Wrecks N FX for the paint.

Taylor Durdan of Durdan PerFab. He helped me when others could not. Thank you kind sir! You are worth your weight in gold!

Enthalpy (Scott aka Paul Sr). He did the ROM Tune on it which would other wise make it choke on 740cc injectors. I owe you a ... no wait, I bought you lunch already. And breakfast.

Charles, Mark, Major and Doug of Z Fever, for taking over the project and making sure it was finished. It wouldn't be done if not for you guys.

Future plans call for respraying the front bumper, aligning it a little better, some sort of clutch, bucket seats, cage, putting my stereo back in. An ATS carbon/carbon diff with 4.36 final drive is going in with the clutch soon. I just got it running not too long ago so no action shots yet.

Questions? Comments? Objections? Insults?

Well I was going to comment about poor ftment, especially the passengers side headlight/corner light, but you said you were gonna fix that already. Car doesn't look to bad except for the fitment, and missing turn signals in the bumper. Have fun with it.

I have an 03 Cobra I daily grind. It's comfy and a bit more practical. This keeps the wear and tear off of the S14. Plus with as low as it is (I can't roll over a coke can - on it's side!) it's very unpractical. I hope to build a second s14 that will serve as a daily. I know from experience though when you drive a cool car every day, you get bored with it and want to do more. I'd rather extend that as long as I can.

Very nice pull job on the rear fenders. All the pull jobs I have seen so far are ghetto whacked, except for heartwork

I put in 10 hours on the rear fenders alone. There is no bondo, only some smoothing compound to clear up some slight ripples.

The chrome idea came from all the Supras in the area. I really liked the fact that they opened the hood and everything was clean and easy to keep clean. Kinda a show with a lot of go. That impresses me, no matter what the car. So I figured I'd build my own version.

Hotter than acidd

wish I had that car parked infront of my garage
How much wider do the chargespeed fenders extend outwards compared to the stock ones. Also can't seem to remember those wheels but I love them.
Keep up the good work.
Hopefully the black widow will look as good as that one day
I got 2 cars at the body shop getting things done no fun i feel ya

S14 KA TB - mine was toast when I got the swap (throttle plate bent). Had to change the plug on the harness but no biggie - works fine.

I must say this is by far my favorite S14 Ive seen period. I love the paint, the clean engine bay and the body kit/color. Very nice job. I was thinkin about converting my stock manifold like you did. Did you drill a hole and then weld a cast iron piece or a steel piece to mount your wastegate on? Please keep us informed on the evolution of your car. Very nice.

That is exactly what we did. Welded on the supplied flange from Tial, and mounted it up. Its positioned directly above the collector, so it bleeds from 2 cylinders. Sounds pretty mean when it opens

Well my question is, wuts the reason the bumper, corner lights and fenders off? Which one caused it to be like that? I cant really tell but it kinda looks like the bumpers pushed in and the fenders pushed forward.

The bumper and fenders are about 98% perfect, the head and corner lights do not fit right. We are working on that. Not sure why they dont fit right

super sick.

lovin' it.

I was going to complain about the empty grill, but then you said you drive a Cobra... Its got the same empty grill look. I, personally, don't like it. It looks like its missing something. But, side-by-side with the Cobra.... you get the idea.

Keep rockin' it hard.
