any new flavor to the D1 circus is welcomed in my book. Boring to watch? what are you talking about? He was hitting slides better than some of the FR guys. I'm not a supporter of ass dragging either, but he was giving a pretty decent display.

I don't accept the fact that this civic drags it's ass around more then santa's little helper. I can't get with the fact, STILL ! ! ! that after 20 years of observation, FF autothusiasts still try to keep up with the FR's. I can't get with the front wheels burnin' smoke. . .I'm not on that. He definitely would not be able to keep up with the D1 guys, but he ran with a couple of the demo guys and he kinda kept up with them. D1 comes through 20-30mph faster than this dude.

the course setup for D1 was definitely for the big boys. This civic would do better on a mini-course

It was late at night so i forgot to explain this right. But anyways im not trying to "hate" on any of the cars but why FF or why some heavy ass cars (domestics). I've seen all these try to drift stock and its always bad when i see it. My friend who drives an accord thinks he is the best drifter in the world just because he can pull the ebrake and step on it and it will look like he is drifting but he is only ass-draggin the car he also thinks that hondas could drift better than any rwd car... (wtf). Tein putting these cars up just makes people who see them try to drift them. Just watch me get a crx and start drifting it though.

Basically that Civic sucks, it needs to stay on the Auto-X course. It's definitely cool to see it setup for drift, but it isn't going to get very far that's for certain....

nightwalker: You really didn't watch closely then, because like Dousan said...that Civic couldn't keep up and it's boring as helllllll to watch it assdragging and losing speed through all the corners.......and in the words of Dousan, "newb".

what kinda stoopid ignorant comment is that heavy ass car(domestics) you are exhibiting the same mindset people displayed when rhys campainged the GTO c'mon now you need to reasearch, last time i checked the soarer was the heaviest. So because domestics and such you hate suddenly lightweight cars can be the only ones to compete. Taking a car and drifting well is why they do it. Because its hard its challenging, dammit go back to your sisters room.

Last time I checked, Tein andFalken did not just cater to RWD Lightweight Cars. So why would they only include them in their Demo teams and alienate the other half (or more) of their market. Maybe if you stop bitching for a minute and consider that they are a business, you might understand them better. Of course, you could just remain close-minded and refuse to believe that any other car could possibly be as good as a 240sx.

Haha...its not only rwd cars that need tires. Its all a marketing ploy people. Think bout it. Falken is a tire company, no other sports/events out there would bring them more $$$ than drifting. Biggest reason they sponsored a mustang would be because everybody and they're mom will have one. I mean honestly, how much mustangs are out there??? Not the new ones yet, just cuz they're all still in back order and shiet. But think bout it, Mustangs are like the Accords of the domestic world. Civic...Same idea...try to sucker some of the FWD folks to try it.

Personally, I'd be very happy to see more domestic cars in drift events. From your comment, it seems as if drifting should only be for rwD, import cars. I'm sorry, but after a while, it does get boring watching the same cars over and over again, drifting.
