driveshaft size s13 s14 one-piece

Does anyone know the size of a one-piece driveshaft for the S13 5spd with lsd?

I went to a driveshaft place and they said that i had to take off my driveshaft so i can measure it accurately. I cant do it cause im pressed for time and its my daily driver. Also if anyone knew the sizes for s13 auto or s14 5spd auto that be great for anyone else who wants to know.

thanx

There's this thing called a tape measure. It's actually a pretty cool device.

Okay
1) My KA is out of the car.
2) I'm waiting on my SR.

So there is no way for me to acquire a measurment on the car as is. I would rather not drive out to a junkyard, and wrench a driveshaft off just to measure it. If anybody has any constructive input to my inquiry, can you please chime in. Thank you.

It's not going to be any different on or off the car. Whatever the OE length is will be the length you need. You think the driveshaft lengthens once installed?

Okay, I'm not wanting to drive out to a junkyard period. I'd rather take a shot at hoping this board has helpful members with some answers. Hell, if these driveshafts are down to $350 now anyway, I might as well buy an aluminum one. Thanks for your help anyway.

If you want it done right send the company your driveshaft. Thats it. Its a 2 piece driveshaft and very few driveshaft companies mess with imports. It would be a different story if you had a old school domestic though.

So you're saying that you don't even have a driveshaft. That would have been more helpful to us to know.
I have an S13 5speed driveshaft at the shop, I can measure it tommorrow. The takes about an inch off that size.

I have a driveshaft. My situation is that I upgraded to a JDM VLSD that came out of an ABS equipped car. My car was not ABS equipped, so the pumpkin that came on the VLSD had an extra length on the nose for the ABS sensor. So I need to shorten my stock driveshaft a certain length, and was wondering what the driveshaft length difference is between ABS and non-ABS equipped cars.

It's just under an inch difference. You can also just measure the snout on the diff vs. the open diff, but either way it's very little and there's plenty of people running non-ABS shafts with ABS diffs, myself included, with no ill effects.

A one piece driveshaft will be shorter than a 2 piece.
