QR25DE In A 92 240sx

Whats goin on everyone. I wanted to know if anyone would know how to adapt a SR20 or KA24 5 speed transmission to the QR25 to make it rear wheel drive. I ask this question because I recently totalled my Sentra Spec V before I was able to recieve and install my fully built motor. I don't want to sell the motor cause there is no way in hell that I would ever get anywhere near what I invested into it. I tried to search but kept comming up with nothing. Please keep all your negative views and opinions to yourself. Thanks in advance, Jack

Silly boy, there is something much better. A QR25 variant (sohc I think) came in the 2000+ Fronteirs, so its allready rwd. Find out what tranny those have and you're moving towards getting somewhere. I really wouldnt want one of their trannys since they are probably super close ratios and not performance oriented. But if it is similar to the KA/SR tranny which I suspect than you can do that.

find a spec v with a blown motor and pick it up for dirt cheap.

Otherwise, go with wootwoot's suggestion and swap over all the parts you can to the new RWD QR.
keep in mind that the QR is only in the '05+ Frontiers.. not the 00+.
Frontiers from 98-04 came with KA24DE (from Mexico).

Yeah nissan starting put the DOHC in the frontier when they actually adopted the name "frontier".

But I love the QR25DE...100mm stroke

I can't wait until somebody pulls the swap off. I think it could get popular in a couple of years...

Only prob is I hear they have weak crankshafts when you boost them.
