Jcerillo70's SR20 Build ;)
Hey guys!
So i picked up a 1993 240 a couple weeks ago with 18k miles on her! Belonged to an older woman who never used it obviously. ![]() ![]() ![]() So first thing first was getting the smell out... ![]() Thanks to my stain extractor spray and gear from chemical guys i got most of the gross 10 year old coffee stains out, and deodorized. next was to replace the stock radio with a more updated bluetooth system and throw in some 6.5" speakers in the front. No sub just incase we want to put a canister of something more important in the trunk. This week consisted of suspension and brake prep... BC Coilovers, 4-5 lug conversion with the matching rotars and hawk pads. Along with some 17x9.5 mb battle wheels sitting on my favorite toyo proxes ![]() So this will all be installed early this week ---- Next 3 weeks will be our engine and trans swap on order arriving tuesday ![]() http://jdmenginepa.com/product/jdm-s...ia-s14-engine/ SR20 blacktop from a s14 mounted with a manual trans to aid the install i also ordered the basic swap kit http://www.enjukuracing.com/products...p-package.html along with the brake pedal and a clutch pedal assembly. --- As far as body goes i have an idea in mind short term and long term short term is a wrap ![]() roof,body lines of hood, and 180x wing wrapped in gloss black Long term- is to either do a 180x body kit to replace the paint can bumpers or keep the original look and just get the bumpers sprayed? --- Suggestions are greatly appreciated, and any routes for the next step i would love to hear - im thinking 550cc injectors, z32 maf,rom tune and garret or isis turbo upgrade. but id love to hear from you guys who have more experience with this stuff. Im a subaru guy used to plug and play accessports so this is all new to me. So now the update for the future:
I ordered a used manifold that im going to send out to cody ace to get an external WG installed on and i have tomei poncams 256 sitting in the garage. The debate is here: do i wait to install these until i have enough saved for the garrett turbo and bigger 750 injectors and apexi power fc d-jetro? or while were swapping in the s14 engine next week, throw in the cams and new manifold with the EWG? Will it benefit in anyway if i dont wait? My goal is more low to mid range power. Im not looking for high range top speed rather then who can do the quickest 0-60 off the line.
