My insurance on my first S14 when I was 20 was $310 a month with a $360 car payment...shit sucks when 60% of your check goes to just those 2.

Progressive is charging me 540 bucks every 6 months. Luckily, my parents added me to their plan, so I'll pay them. I'd be deep in the hole if I didn't get on my parents insurance........

Congrats to the OP but I must say- be a responsible owner and son help your parents out, with bills with shores ectect. they went out of their way risking their credit score to make you happy. So big boy pants from now on and don't forget your responsibility in 2-4 years once the new car smell is gone.

I really hope youre not living at home still, and if so I hope you are kicking your parents down some coin or assisting on any bills they have monthly. Id kick my kids ass if he bought a brand spanking new car at 18. That tells me that you could afford rent young man.

Lol why does everyone get all butthurt when some young kid buys a nice car? If his parents are rich (which they probably are), why hate on him for buying their kids nice shit? More than likely he won't appreciate shit like the majority of em, but still haha the hatred is intense

no one knows what this kid does. i knew a few people that paid for brand new cars right out of high school. one of my friends was making 50k a year in 1997 right out of HS.
