s13 Licence plate hole stripped

hi, my 240sx Licence plate holes are stripped, or has nothing to hold in screws. does anyone have and sudjestions on how i could fix this problem asap, the holes are way to big for standerd bolts, thanks.

use a washer...make new holes.....or get new plates at the dmv (like $15)

sorry correction not the licence plate it self but the mounting holes, the screws wont thread in. is there supose to be metal brakets?

S13 or S14? Front or Rear?

Bell products sells a plate mount board, I had to get one for my JDM rear.

i drilled them larger and used these lil plastic inserts that expand when you put in a screw. like for drywall, but just for licence plates (usually on trucks). I got them from the dealer, where i work, so IDK a part number. They should have something though.

I used some plastic bolts I had that were to big for the hole and just stripped as they went in. They hold good but I cat take them out and reuse them so i say just re-tap the holes

Are both holes stripped? my Lic. plate only has one screw holding it to my bumper... and it's be there for years...

I posted a pic of my car before I got both holes of my license plate fixed and it was crooked and another guy said he got pulled over cuz his plate was crooked so Id be careful and get that fixed
