TurboXS MBC

I searched and found some people using the TurboXS MBC (manual boost controller) for those that didn't know; but anyways, I was looking into getting one for my car, but I'm not sure which one to get.

Some said they were using the TurboXS standard one, and some were using the TurboXS 'high performance' one.. my question is, what's the difference? I plan on running around 7-8 psi daily, and 10 at other times (on my KA-T).

These are the ones I'm talking about..

Standard

High Performance

Please give me your opinions.. and at the moment, I can't afford an electric one, so that's sorta out of the question, but I don't want to go make one.. I guess the 'name' gives me some comfort that I won't be boosting too much.. and yes, I am aware of the 'never overboost again' thing on ka-t.org..

I believe the difference is that the standard is just a bleeder valve..and the "high-po" one is a bleeder valve (fine adjustment) with a ball-n-spring for coarse adjustment.

I have the Hi-po...bought it off a friend for cheap...and it's no better than a Joe-P MBC. It's no worse, either...

BUT - I'd go with a basic, name brand (Joe-P) ball and spring controller.

Tried and trued, and less $$$.
